These are standouts of the camp. A selective few from each camp are evaluated based on their skills set, ability to work hard and their incredible drive to play at the next level.
Jet quick point guard with exceptional speed laterally. Short in stature, standing at about 5'10''. Needs to work on finishing with his left hand and more consistency from the perimeter. Excellent defender. With high DII or low DI potential.
Surprised me with great bursts of offensive skill. Plays like a natural 2 guard. Needs to work on point guard abilities and be more of a distributor. Undersized for a 2 guard but can really score the ball.
Quality point guard with a huge upside. Above average foot speed but needs to work on his consistency from the perimeter. Young player stands at about 5'10'' but if he improves his perimeter jump shot and continues to develop his on-ball defensive ability has the potential to become a high DII player.
Natural athlete who's best position is a 2 guard. Above average offensive skills. Needs to work on his defensive skills especially off the ball. Very underrated offensive player but needs to be more vocal and improve his defense.
Young player with tons of potential. Needs to get quicker on the defensive end and be more aggressive on the offensive end. Only a rising sophomore so he has time to improve his skills. It will be interesting to see where he is a year from now. If he improves his quickness, defense, and offensive consistency, his potential could be that of a college player.
Great offensive talent who's potential is unlimited. If he takes the game seriously and improves his defensive intensity he is definitely a college player. I would say at this time he has the potential to be a low major prospect. Needs to get stronger. Needs to improve his basketball IQ and his point guard skills. His future is that of a combo guard so he must improve his passing skills and learn how to set up his teammates. Only a rising freshman, gives him unlimited potential.
Already committed to attend Eastern Arizona University, has a very strong body with good offensive skills. Needs to improve his defense and point guard skills. Plays like a 2 guard with excellent athletic ability.
Committed to International University, a natural 3 man with excellent long range shooting ability. Needs to improve his play around the rim and his stamina. A DI body with DI potential but lacks the basketball IQ on the defensive end that is necessary at that level. Excellent size could play at 2 as well. If he improve his defense, he could be a really good player.
Committed to Northwest University. Dominant offensive talent and low major DI potential. Must learn to play more like a distributor at times so he can fit the role of combo guard. Could score in various ways. A natural scorer with excellent range. Good foot speed, great defensive potential, and a great overall player. Dribbles too much at times but can score from anywhere on the floor. Excellent athlete, very strong player and should be a low major DI player.
Best talent with most potential in camp based on him being only a rising junior. Needs to take the game more seriously and concentrate on his academics. If he does this, he is definitely a college player. Excellent shooter, good off the dribble, can finish with his right or left. A natural 2 guard. Needs to improve his on ball defense, and get stronger physically but has good size for a 2 guard, standing at about 6'2''. It will be good to see where he is a year from today as he should be on many college recruiters' lists if he makes the improvements mentioned above. Could potentially be a mid major player.
Rising sophomore, gives him potential. Good long range shooter but needs to improve his form. Stands up too much, needs to get lower on both ends of the court. Must improve his defense and lateral foot speed. Needs to also improve his athleticism and shooting off the dribble. Good size and youth, gives him potential but he must improve in the areas listed above.
The best player at camp with a very high motor. Excellent offensive skills, can distribute or score. A natural point guard that can also play the 2. Great lateral foot speed. Above average defender. Very coachable. He is definitely a DI prospect. Excellent grades and the ability to do everything on the floor. Demands that he plays at the next level. A player not yet on anyone's radar, but should be. A coach's dream in that he does whatever is asked and at a high level.
Exceptional athlete but needs to be more aggressive, especially on the offensive end. May have been the best athlete in camp. There is nothing he can't do on the floor, he just has to do it. Needs to improve his shooting off the dribble, and his left hand. Needs to talk more and be more assertive. Natural 2 guard with the potential to be a combo guard. Very high potential but must be allowed to expand his game.
Left hander with high potential. Needs to take the game more seriously and if so, has the potential to be a college player. Needs to improve his offensive consistency and his defensive IQ. Very good athlete, and a natural 2 guard. A good slasher that sets up his teammates. Plays around the rim and has great aggression. Excellent potential, should be a college player.
Battled through injury for most of the camp. Needs to improve on the defensive end. Decent outside shooter, but also needs to improve his foot speed and lateral movement. Could improve on his form, with regards to his outside shot and his ability to attack the rim.
Very strong player, left handed with good size. Needs to be quicker in all phases. Slow release from the perimeter but it goes in. Very strong and should be a good inside/outside threat. Plays like a 4 with size like a 3. Plays with power but needs to improve his athleticism and foot speed. potential as a step out 4 in college at a smaller school.
Rising freshman with excellent potential and great size. standing at about 6'3''. Plays with power. Needs to improve his athleticism and footwork. Plays with a high IQ and can score in various ways inside and out. Needs to improve his consistency on the offensive end and his defensive footwork but a definite college player with the potential to go to a low major.
Excellent size and potential but a rising senior. Plays at about 6'6'' even though he is only 6'4''. Should be a great shooter, has great form and release. Needs to play with more confidence. But has the DI frame and size for a 2 guard. Above average athletic ability and really has the body type for a low major shooting guard. Is a better shooter than he thinks! Excellent potential but the clock is ticking.
Might have been the most improved player at camp. Short in stature (6'2'') but large in girth. Very soft hands and great footwork. Can shoot from the perimeter as a step-back 4 and post up like a power forward. Needs to improve his left hand and foot speed. Needs to play with more aggression and confidence. Has an unstoppable offensive game if allowed to exhibit it. Very good basketball skill. Needs to improve his conditioning slightly and could definitely make a DII basketball team.
