DTX WINTER AAU Basketball
Come and PLAY for Fairfield County’s NEW PREMIER AAU BASKETBALL team run by world renowned Coach Dave Taylor! DTX is all about player development! The purpose is to teach and develop players so they can reach their potential on and off the court! As licensed educators, Dave and Tina Taylor want their players to learn the fundamentals of basketball and how to play the game!
The Winter season is unique to most seasons in that it is 12 weeks long! That gives us plenty of time to work on what is important, things like basketball fundamentals, basketball skill development, basketball I.Q. development and learning the mental side of the game as well as the physical side. We will be having unique practices to any other program. Practices that go over end of game situations, practices where we will watch game film of their own games as well as game film from college and NBA games. We need to prepare these kids in the Winter for making their eventual high school teams and preparing them for the Spring. This will be a basketball experience no other program will be able to duplicate (although many will try). This is a program that is intended to develop the student/athlete for success both on and off the court! In addition to the practices, we will offer many skills sessions using the technology of the Dr. Dish shooting machine as well as other technological devices! These are EXCLUSIVE TO DTX PLAYERS!!! We will conduct STUDY HALLS and perform grade checks! We are a program that cares about these student/athletes off the court as much as we do on the court!
