Career Overview

25+ YEARS IN BASKETBALL DEVELOPMENT

Coach Dave Taylor is an internationally recognized basketball educator, player development specialist, and event director whose impact spans continents and generations of athletes.

As a former assistant coach at the United States Air Force Academy, Dave built the foundation of a career dedicated to excellence, discipline, and the relentless pursuit of improvement that defines elite basketball.

Dave has helped shape the careers of hundreds of players through his days running the Nike Phenom Camps, coaching with Double Pump out of California, and working with hundreds more through his numerous international camps and NCAA Live Events. He plays a small yet integral part in each player's journey — including future NBA stars such as James Harden, Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson, Paul George, and Karl-Anthony Towns.

As director of Phenom America, he has helped build one of the most respected player evaluation and development platforms in the country. Through his local DTX Basketball program in Connecticut, he has helped send over 50 players to college.

Global Camp Director
Directed basketball camps across Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Australia, Vietnam, and the Philippines, expanding to Portugal and Brazil.
NCAA IMPACT
1,500+ College Placements
Helped approximately 1,500 NCAA Division I, II, and III student-athletes advance their careers through expert guidance and development. Also ran the West Coast All-Star Camps and Double Pump tournaments for 10+ years during the live periods.
